Tired of Chicken? Learn to cook high protein meat alternatives. Caroline’s husband, Jon grew up on a cattle ranch, and even he approves of the flavors and textures in the recipes for Saturday. Healthy, versatile, flavorful and inexpensive – bon a petit!

Add protein to the following:
1. Orange-avocado
2 handfuls of greens (spinach, kale, chard, whatever)
1 cup water
1/2 cup ice
1 orange
1/2 avocado

2. Cuke-Strawberry
1 handful greens
2 celery stalks
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 banana
1/2 cucumber
ice/water

3. Berry Banana
2 handfuls of greens,
1/2 banana
1 cup blueberries
ice, water

Cherry Chocolate
1 handful of greens
1/2 cup cherries
1/2 banana
2 T cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon
ice, water

Ginger Green
2 handfuls of greens
1/2 banana
1/2 c frozen mango
1/2 lemon
fresh ginger to taste

You might think you know all about hummus. Store bought hummus doesn’t touch the nutritive value of Caroline’s versions. Add a new, easy to make snack to your arsenal, and boost your superfood intake for the day. Pop in anytime on Tuesday for new tantalizing tastes!

We are at the halfway mark. Great job on your efforts so far. I know the first week or two was easier, and that last week was getting tougher. Do you stop here? Continue on? restart?
